Bob Jacobson's 5/7 post goes some needed distance to fill in the blanks
on who info brokers are and what they do.
One good example that fits Bob's description is the well-named company,
Super Bureau, HQ'd in the Monterrey area. This is only one info broker
resident in what presently is a legal gray area that needs to be made
brighter by desirable changes to the FCRA.
Seems AB1168, now in the CA Senate, which enacts the Personal Information
Integrity Act of 1991, tries to go part of the necessary distance.
