"Telecom Security '91," New Orleans, 6/19-21, is CFCA's seventh annual conference "to promote up-to-date remedies for newly discovered vulnerabilities." CFCA's announcement describes the organization as "the nation's clearinghouse for communications fraud information," and further describes this conference as "the nation's most comprehensive conference focusing on curtailing telecommunications fraud..., CFCA's 31st conference dealing with timely, high-tech crime topics in the past six years." The announcement also notes that "Due to the sensitive subject matter covered, CFCA reserves the right to screen participants who are not association members." CFCA, says the announcement, "helps prosecute offenders, implement protection, publicize consumer advice, assist police and promote international understanding."
