I have noticed that the Russian RS satellites have been somewhat erratic in operation the past few weeks. In many passes, the beacons are not heard. Further, I have not heard RS-6 in some time, although i have been told that it is no longer functional. Anyone know whats up here? Are the batteries weakening, and they are being used sparingly to extend the satellites life? HELP! 73, KU9C steve wheatley inuxg!wheatley
