A while ago there was a spate of articles on the Uniden CR 2021 radio.
Fantastic value at $89 or so. Well now it seems they are no longer
{ri Radio Center and tried to buy another yesterday. They told me they
were sold out and would not be getting any more. So I tried National
Tower - same story only they also told me they had bought a one time lot
of 3000 and they were now discontinued.
Speculation - since Uniden also makes the virtually identical DX400 which
sells for $300 in Radio Shack did they sign a deal which prohibits them
from importing any more 2021s into the US?.
Help ! does anyone know where 2021s are still available. I want to get
one for my daughter for Christmas.
