qst de k9eui hr k9eui bulletin nr 14 december 3 1984 to all radio amateurs bt the illinois amateur radio emergency service ares holds a net on the first and third sunday of each month in order to disseminate information of interest to amateur radio operators involved in public service and emergency communications. it also provides an opportunity to test equipment for readiness in case of an emergency. all interested persons are encouraged to participate in the net. it is conducted on 3915 khz plus or minus interference and also on 2 meters, 147.06 mhz simplex in the chicago area, and in southern illinois on the carbondale 146.04/64 repeater. time, 430 pm local illinois time, which at this time is cst. ar
