Hi, we have seen the recent discussion about the problem to get computer graphics recorded to a VCR. We have the right equipment to do this ! All You need is our SCAN-CONVERTER card for the PC, that plugs into the Mother- board on a free PC-connector port. It converts VGA 640x400 and 640X480 256 color graphics to PAL or NTSC standard interlace output (CCIR-broadcast-quality). It zooms the picture, so You have an OverScaned screen with no more visible borders ! It is also a GENLOCK function implemented, so You can underlay Your other VCR orcamera input as a background display. The card is called OverScan-ScanCon I and is available from end of JULY 1991 from : OverScan GbR Saentisstr. 166 1000 Berlin 48 Germany Tel.: ++49 30 721 94 66 FAX.: ++49 30 721 56 92 Call us. We will make You a good price. Also there is another Scanconverter in development, which converts the High-End Computer Graphics screens, like CAD/CAM 1280 x 1024 true color down to European PAL CCIR standard (Interlace) with anti-flicker intertpolation filter etc. This ScanConverter will be available at a breakthrough price at the end of 1991.If You have any question about recording computer graphics to VCR please feel free to contact Mr. Hartmann at the OverScan office every day from Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm European standard time. P.S.: You can't record a VGA-board-output directly to a VCR, because the scan-frequencies of a VGA-Board are totally different to the scan-frequencies used in the NTSC and PAL Television systems. So it is necessary to convert the frequencies and the pictures with a ScanConverter board ! -Stefan Hartmann. -- ******************************************************************************* * EMAIL: leo@zelator.uucp Stefan Hartmann * * COMPUSERVE: 72017,3216 GEnie: S.HARTMANN * * Phone : ++ 49 30 344 23 66 FAX : ++ 49 30 344 92 79 * ********************************************************************************
