x New 800 MHz Handheld Scanner in the Works? Look for a future announcement by Regency of the new HX-2000 handheld scanner. Rumor has it that this radio will include coverage of the 800 MHz land mobile band, as well as the traditional public service bands. I may be a while before you can get your hands on one.
