VRTX is a Versatile Real-Time Executive for micro systems that has multi
tasking and real-time operating system.  It has many features amongst them -
Interrupt-driven, priority-based scheduling Intertask communication and
synchronization Dynamic memory allocation Real-time clock control, with
optional time slicing Character I/O support Real-time responsiveness (what ever
that means!)

Would anyone with direct experience with this product, or with contacts that
can be approached about this product get in touch with me ASAP.  Anyone with
information about this product being placed in a CMOS masked ROM (High Rel -
but I am probably dreaming) can probably negotiate a free bottle of scotch or
equivalent.  This product has a number of interesting features that would make
it very attractive for some amateur radio applications.
