I am about to buy a 386/333 MHz motherboard upgrade. I've heard some horror stories lately about incompatibility between OS/2 and various BIOSes. Can anyone comment on this situation? Specifically has anyone had problems with OS/2 (you name the version) on a motherboard with an AMI BIOS? How about on an actual AMI motherboard?

When you get that running, let me know. Any machine with a 3 nanosecond clock period that doesn't use liquid nitrogen cooling has got to be something. I'm running IBM OS/2 v 1.2 on an ALR with a Phoenix bios and Microsoft OS/2 version 2.0 on a noname clone with an AMI bios. Make sure that the keyboard controller is the KD revison level since in the K8 version the arrow keys do not always work.
