I was just sitting here, designing a new background color for PM, when suddenly it struck me that _everything_ I use for OS/2 is just a port from DOS or UNIX. Is this the same all over? Has anyone any programs that *require* OS/2's neat features, or is it, at this point, just a decent GUI? I use EMACS, LaTeX (which is bound), and others, but it seems that there isn't one software package which makes it any more than a luxury -- something like 1-2-3 and dBase did for DOS... Specifically, though, if anyone has some sort of mathematical software (mathematica, macsyma, ANYTHING!) for OS/2, I think the platform would begin to be more popular--especially in the university environment... -- _ __ _ __ __ __ lance@vax1.acs.udel.edu o o o _// / ) ' ) ) / ) / ` / o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o / /--/ / / / /-- / o o o o o o o o o o o o o o /___ / (_ / ( (__/ (___, o o o o o o o o o o o o o
