I recently had the pleasure of trying to create a regression model Excel. I don't have the Excel manual, and was trying to figure it all out from my Cybex book on Excel. LINEST and LOGEST were so confusing to me that I did this (I didn't have that many data points): I put all the data points into a statistical package and got the slope and intercept, I then created a formula in the second row of the array making it equal to (mX + b. You can put in a bunch of predictors into the first row of your array and then copy he formula across the second row. You are then able to plot the info using file_new_ chart.
