I hope someone can assist me in locating software to do the following. We need to do high-quality screen captures of PM screens using OS/2 v1.3. Ideally, such a utility must capture user-selectable portions of the screen into a file format that may be brought into a Mac product for subsequent annotating, etc. We have several Mac products such as paint programs, Pagemaker, etc. I think TIFF and PCX are good formats for us. The problem is that we are using XGA (and 8514/A ie. 1024 x 768 x 256) and none of the capture utilities we have produce good enough quality captures. Does anyone know of any good products that would do the above task? Ideally, it should do a color-grayscale conversion, and produce a capture as close as possible to what is seen on the screen. Also nice would be the ability to capture modal things such as pull-down menus, etc. using a timer or a full-screen/partial-screen two-step capture. Any recommendations or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -- Brad Cameron uucp: cognos!bradc Cognos Incorporated inet: bradc%cognos.uucp@ccs.carleton.ca (613) 738-1440 mail: P.O.
