This is the last call for votes. The group is unmoderated. There is still some ambiguity as to the exact definition of this group, but in general it is for the discussion, support and sharing of ideas concerning tattooing, peircing, branding, etc. (or what is sometimes call modern primitives). This type of body modification is different than cosmetic changes (i.e. makeup or plastic surgery). One of the more interesting things about this subject is that the majority of people are either interested in it or against it, Whatever the reason, it is something that is very primordial and therefore, something that is very very deep within us all. And that would seem to hint at a need for such a group. I will be collecting the votes and will post acknoledgements out at least weekly to news.groups only (saves bandwith). The voting period will be 21 days. The vote will begin on 0000 MST 17 Jan, 1991 and will end on 2400 MST 6 Feb, 1991. When you vote, the subject header should have something like "bodyart VOTE", then all I need is a YES or NO in the message. If you want to discuss something with me, please Email separately. If these rules are not followed, I may miss your vote. My address is cwayne@hydra.unm.edu or cwayne@triton.unm.edu. As always if you know of a newsgroup or mailling list that this CFV did not make it to, please pass it on. Thanks, Chris Wayne cwayne@hydra.unm.edu or cwayne@triton.unm.edu
