[] I have an old 1040ST (no RF modulator) and I'd like to have it do monochrome on one of the amber monitors I have lying around (the ordinary cheap kind.) Is it possible to build a cable to hook something like that up to the Atari's monitor jack? Or does the monochrome output of a 1040ST really and truly require an Atari monitor? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
