I just got my first hard drive (yaaay) and an ICD adapter to run it. The ICD software lets you set how many folder buffers to be active. (to avoid the infamous 40-folder limit bug). What is a good, safe amount to use? What is a good, safe amount to use? It depends on how fast you create folders on your hard drive. I usualy set mine to my current number of folders plus about 50. I then regularly/frequently check the number of folders I have. --- Ray Wallace (INTERNET,UUCP) wallace@oldtmr.enet.dec.com (UUCP) ...!decwrl!oldtmr.enet!wallace (INTERNET) wallace%oldtmr.enet@decwrl.dec.com ---
