My fiance'e owns a 520ST with two floppy drives. Yesterday, both drives suddenly ceased working: click on A:, get '0 items', click on B:, get the same. Trying to format a disk resulted in the drive seemingly completing the formatting pass, then failing - immediately - on the verify pass. The day before yesterday, both drives were working. Swapping cables doesn't help; removing one drive from the daisy chain doesn't help. Opening the CPU case and reseating things worked for a bit, then failed. In fact, she now gets eight bombs when she hits the power. Any advice would be much appreciated!
