System: Atari 2 MEGA with 6 chip TOS 1.4 Recently my brother bought a 85 Meg TOAD computer harddisk. When the harddisk is accessed there is a good chance of having the screen loose sync and be impossible to read. If you are page flipping there is some chance of sync being restored but part of the right hand side of the screen is over on the left hand side. Happily the harddisk works flawlessly with my 2.5Meg ST so I think that the harddrive is fine. All in all I suspect noise is getting into the circuit during heavy DMA. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a solution to the problem. TOAD and ICD have not seen this problem but are quite willing to help swap parts but I suspect the MEGA not the harddisk unit.
