A person on Fidonet mentioned in a reply to a post that the SC1224 is capable of handling 640x400 resolution. He also said that he thought it could handle 16.7 million colors, but that he wasn't sure. Forgetting about the 16.7 mil colors for now :^) , is it really possible to get 640x400 on an SC1224? Would it be difficult to read because of flicker or anything like that? If not, it sure would be nice to get that kind of res with even 4 colors. The TT supposedly has a 640x400 mode, but that requires a multisync, doesn't it? I'm not a programmer, but I've heard that GEM is capable of detecting several resolutions and the programs that follow the rules should adjust accordingly, like on the Moniterm. If the 640x400 is readable on a SC1224 without any ill side effects, couldn't a patch be made like BigScreen or MonSTEr? If so, could someone please write one. :^) I'd buy it in an instant.
