[comp.sys.atari.st.tech] Connor SCSI drives and BMS Host Adaptor

schuster@cup.portal.com (Michael Alan Schuster) (10/06/90)

Is there a trick to using Connor SCSI drives on the Atari? A friend
has the original Berkeley Microsystems ACST-to-SCSI host adaptor.
He has used it directly with several SCSI drives, and with ST-506
drives using an Adaptec controller. But all attempts to connect
several Connor SCSI drives have failed ... formatting software
consistently says the SCSI device does not exist. What's the problem?

You have a BMS-100 controller. its Great, but not perfect.
Likely you will need the BMS-200 (a $75 upgrade).  Give them a call;
they are very knowlegable, and probably know just what is happening
with your Conner drive.
