I am on my second mouse. I think it's called Genius and it has built in accelarators in it. It just runs off the screen at will. Drives me nuts. Now the left button needs to be beaten to operate. When I send it back to RIO Computers, I swear I'm getting the same mouse back(no, I didn't remember to write the serial number down) it comes back just as crazy. What is a good mouse to get next time? -- But I still like my ST... GEnie M.DUCEY SOCEUR (A) Bitnet mjducey@suvm "But Sgt. Well, I hear the mouse offering by Konyo is essentially a Microsoft mouse, and the MS mice are very durable (can anyone confirm/deny the Konyo=MS mouse statement?). You could also hack a Microsoft Mouse (bus version) to work with the ST. I intend to do this if my ST one ever dies. If you did not know, the Atari mouse design changed (at least) once, the new one has nice big teflon sleeves on the rollers. I have one of these, and it has worked great for over 2 years (of HEAVY use). -- Mickey R. Boyd | "It's amazing how much growing up FSU Computer Science | resembles being too tired." If you did not know, I have a three button Logitech bus mouse that I am trying to get to work on my ST. up-down/right-left is trivial, but getting button response is not (yes I know I can only use 2 buttons). It is _not_ just a matter of connecting the right wires. Can anyone help? (why don't I just buy a cheap mouse? 'cause I just about can't afford blank floppies right now, that's why.) chuck@mrcnext.cso.uiuc.edu
