I am really impressed with the MiNT kernel, however, I am still waiting for some brilliant Modula-2 programmer to create some modules to access the calls from this system. The reason it presents a problem is that the version of TDI Modula-2 I am using (Release 2.00a, I got it second hand, so I don't know anything about the upgrade policy, can anyone fill me in on this?) will not let me do GEMDOS calls via their number, they must be the ones prepackaged in the GEMDOS library. I know it could be done with the CODE and SETREG statements, but I really do not want, or feel a need, to fire up Devpac, assembly up some code, dissasembly, and fool around for several hours, just to do something that TDI should already have packaged in with the system. It would sure be nice to have a MiNT library for Modula-2, has anybody done this yet? Will anybody do this? Or am I on my own? In my opinion the language (which is Multitasking in nature in the first place) and MiNT are a perfect combination.
