I'm considering putting together my own hard drive set up and have several
questions:
1. Is there any magazine article or other reference that describes what the
Atari ST requires?
2. What type of drives does it require, if anything special? Reliablity of
a given manufacturers drive info also.
3. What adapter boards are available? I know of one put out by Berkley.
Reliability of the board info here too.
4. Any warnings on what not to do. Or tricks learned in doing it yourself.
5. Good sources for drives, adapter boards, cables, power supplies, or cases.
I'm not concerned about building cables or anything like that, as I've had
a bit of experience there (provided I've got a reasonable schematic).
