I am enlarging the address space on a 1040 ST, in order to add extra ROM etc. By the looks of it, the /DTACK signal needs to be asserted when an address read access is made to the new ROM area. Does anyone know what kind of output drive capability is necessary on the logic which outputs /DTACK ? Also (for another reason) I would also like to generate /BERR. Does that need the same output drive as for /DTACK ? I'm asking because there seems to be no spec sheet available for the ST custom chips. Thanks in advance. Adam David. adamd@rhi.hi.is
