Is it possible to use the SLM804 laser with 2 hard disks on a MEGA4? If so, do I have to alter the dip switches somehow? Jouni

The cables have to be short enough, as their buffering is very bad.

Normally harddisks are put on ACSI-Device #0, so you have to
adjust one of them to another address. I don't know much about
the SLM, but it sounds obvious to me that is relatively useless w/o
harddisk, so I'd say it is already on another address. To be on
the safe side, read the appropriate paragraphs of the manual.
