- 1 ) Are the ST SIMMS "standard" ie. will 8 bit SIMMS from IBM dealers
- work in the ST, and what speed should they be (80ns, 70ns, ...) ?

Yes, the ST SIMMs are standard. You can use either 1megx8 (Mac SIMMs)
or 1megx9 (IBM SIMMs) at 120ns or faster.

- 2 ) Can a MultiSynch monitor (eg. NEC 2A) be hooked to an ST.
- How (I don't have a multisynch yet so don't get too technical -
- just an outline will be fine) ?
- Will it display all three resolutions ?

The NEC 2A won't work 'cause it's not a 'true' multisync. I'm using
an NEC 3D right now. I know others who have used NEC II, Sony 1302,
and many other models. There are some basic guidelines to the type
of monitor you can use.

- Jennie, don't believe him! I have used Nec 2A with ST, and I still
- have that cable to do so available. The cable is made by Lindy and is
- available at least in Germany. But it is a quite easy one to make
- yourself too.

The reason I said it won't work with the ST is that a couple of people
told me that it won't sync when connected to the ST; therefore, I
didn't risk trying it out, since they know more about it than I. I
don't go around making these things up. :^) Do you get all three
resolutions with the 2a or just color or mono?

All three resolutions. (of course there is a switch)
One strange thing: The commercial cable doesn't have any audio-output...
