I have a ST296-N running off a BMS-200 host adapter on my ST. I have a Stacy-
1 with a 20 M internal drive. I have a third ST with no hard drive. What
I'd REALLY like to do is get a FA-ST tape drive from ICD, add a SCSI 3.5"
hard drive and put that on the third ST. To make that worthwhile, it would
sure be nice if I could somehow use the tape to backup all the hard disks.
This is complicated by the fact that the existing drives use Atari's
formatting and partitioning scheme, and driver software, while the tape would
necessarily use ICD software and stuff. Is there a way I can get all my
wishes? I suspect that it may be of general interest if someone can tell
how to do this in detail.
