How does TOS know that the disk in a particular drive has been changed? i.e. when I do a 'dir' command in STOS, the disk whirrs. When I repeat the command, no disk access is performed. However, popping the disk out and in again, followed by a 'dir' causes the disk to be accessed. Does the disk controller send an interrupt when the eject button for a particular drive is pressed? Please email any replys. Thanks. -- Robert Walsh (rjwalsh@unix2.tcd.ie)
