Hello: I was currently in the market to buy an Atari 1040st, at an EXTREMELY good price. But lo-an-behold, the system did not come with a monitor. "No Problem!" I thought... "I'll just hook it up to my TV Set like my friend did his 520, and I did with my 8-bit!!" I thought I had the problem licked... WRONG!!!! Little did I know, but the 1040st was not built for my type of person in mind. The 1040st does not have an RF modulator that would allow me to hook the machine to the TV Set!!! If anyone has any possible solution, PLEASE reply!! Later! You can send any replies to: David D. Dean, President David D.
