I didn't see internet addresses of the authors in the Gemini 1.2 distribution. To whom does one send bug reports / improvement suggestions? -- vsnyder@jato.Jpl.Nasa.Gov ames!elroy!jato!vsnyder vsnyder@jato.uucp

>I didn't see internet addresses of the authors in the Gemini 1.2 distribution. >To whom does one send bug reports / improvement suggestions? Yes, I'd like to know too. Gemini 1.2 is great (it's my Autostart GEM program). I just hope the ShareWare addresses are in the doco too! Warwick. ps. Gemini 1.2 is especially good with Rainbow TOS. Some kind person sent me today the pages of the March issue of C'T (that German magazine) that contains a review of Gemini 1.2 (pages 90-94). The window pictures look *very* nice! The article ends stating that it is shareware: 50 DM to either Stefan Eissing 4419 Laer-Holthausen or Gereon Steffens Cologne Mysteriously, there is no street address for either person. Maybe, for the small village, Laer-Holthausen, that might not be necessary. Normally, all that information should be on the distribution floppy. -- Ralph P. Sobek Disclaimer: The above ruminations are my own. ralph@laas.fr Addresses are ordered by importance. ralph@laas.uucp, or ...!uunet!laas!ralph If all else fails, try: sobek@eclair.Berkeley.EDU =============================================================================== THINK: Due to IMF & World Bank policies 100 million Latin American children are living, eating, and sleeping in the streets -- Le Monde Diplomatique

The information is at the top of every Gemini documentation file, but no e-mail addresses appear for reporting bugs to. Warwick. ps. again I say, Gemini 1.2 is great... but I just use it! -- _--_|\ warwick@cs.uq.oz.au / * <-- Computer Science Department, \_.--._/ University of Queensland, v AUSTRALIA.

> I didn't see internet addresses of the authors in the Gemini 1.2 distribution. > To whom does one send bug reports / improvements suggestions? In my Gemini distribution (which I got directly from Stefan) their addresses (snail mail and mailbox) were at the top of almost every .doc file; the README file also gave an Internet (in fact: BITNET) address. Perhaps the distribution at atari.archive is incomplete? Here they are as of 10/27/90 (but I got them 2/27/91): Copyright (C) 1990 by Gereon Steffens & Stefan Eissing GEMINI ist ein Shareware-Programm von Gereon Steffens Stefan Eissing Elsterweg 8 und Dorfbauerschaft 7 5000 Koeln 90 4419 Laer-Holthausen Fed. Also they are fast: I received my copy of Gemini within 1 day from Stefan (thanks!). Cornelius

Apparently, something with your Gemini distribution is wrong. The information your are looking for should sit in \gdist*\readme. Anyway, here are the adresses: Gereon Steffens: gs@k2.maus.de Stefan Eissing: se@st.maus.de or onm65@dmswwu1a.bitnet

Julian, your name appears in the "About xxx...", in many of the new programs, take Rufus and Gemini as examples. ConVector and one of the new editors, also look mush like these two juvels. Julian - can you tell us what FLYDIAL is ?? Obvious it is a new dialog handler but is it shareware or commercial, does it include a resource editor or what? The resources for gemini and rufus don't make sense (you notice a heavy use of extendet types, though). Can you spread some light over this? Klaus PS, The subject don't seem to have been published in the ProfiBuch nor in your article series in STM.
