The version of BibTeX (0.99c, I think) that I got from dsrgsun.ces.CWRU.edu about a year ago with the rest of the TeX stuff that I use has a couple of (for me) annoying 'features': 1) The environment variables TEXBIB and TEXINPUTS may only be set to a single path, not a series of paths separated by ;s. 2) BibTeX chakes when it finds a path with /s as separators (rather than \s) in a .aux file. Both of these make this version of BibTeX slightly incompatible with the ST port of TeX v2.9. I've worked around them by some creative script writing in Gulam but I'd like to do better. Hence, can anyone direct me to a version of BibTeX for the ST that overcomes the above limitations? I've checked the version at atari.archive and it appears to suffer from the same problems. If such a beast doesn't exist, can anyone point me in the direction of the sources so that I can fix them myself (you'd think I had time on my hands or something... :-). I know I could start over again from the MS-DOS Turbo C sources that Jeffery Long (who no longer seems to exist at the email address given in his docs) used for the port to the ST but that would definitely be reinventing the wheel (or at least retreading the tire...) -- Doug Latornell CAM/Robotics Lab --- Mech.
