I have recently started to have an odd problem- occasionally any of the keys esc, 1, 2, 3 or 4 will suddenly start to repeat at the full repeat rate. It can be stopped by pressing escape. The problem has occured on 2 STs using similar setups. Programs installed are : UIS III AMCLIGHT Fatspeed Pinhead Turbo ST foldrxxx Cons_fix Headstrt Formdoit Accessories: Harlekin Callfsel Treeview It seems to happen at any time- on the desktop, in dialogues and in applications. Gemini 1.2 is running too. Any bright ideas? Marcus Bointon.

I was just typing in First Word Plus (not even fast typing). Besides the symptom described by Marcus above, I also had the following: The last two charcters typed in, repeated only once, and from then on, the ST takes ages (ok, just about 5 seconds I guess), to draw every next character on the screen. I am able to select the save option in the menu (which popped up rather fast-), but the actual save action never starts. Only Ctrl-Del-Shift-etc helps. For your knowledge: No programs were started within the autofolder, and I had only the SNAPSHOT accesoire started.
