I'm trying to get the Net TCP/IP program running on my ST over a dialup line. So far, I can't get my machine talking with the machine I call. I can get the modem to call the local dialup just fine, and a modem connection is established--however, the needed "link" is never established and I'm left without an IP address--thus, the program is virtually useless to me right now. Some general info: I got the programs from wuarchive.wustl.edu. I'm using Merit dialups (MichNet--the network linking the universities within Michigan). The docfile is by Howard Chu (are you listening?). Has anyone been able to get Net running on their ST and been successful in telnetting and ftp'ing with their ST? I'd appreciate any help I can get in setting up this program. (It _is_ possible for this to work--I've set up a similar program on a friend's PC.)
