I have a May 1986 SC1224 Color monitor, made by Gold Star in Korea with an apparent power supply problem. I turn it on, get power but no "picture". I opened it up and discovered that all the output voltages on the power supply are exactly half of what they are marked. I THINK it is the 330uf 250V capacitor... (which I have had NO luck finding a replacement part for). The power supply uses a voltage doubler circuit... Have there been problems with these? If I have diagnosed this correctly, where can I get a replacement part? If I haven't, does anyone know what might be wrong? -- . . . ..Mark Zafshunpoid (markez@csd4.csd.uwm.edu).. . . . . _____________"Truthfulness is the foundation of all virtues."______________
