Hello World (to coin a phrase) I'm using MiNT 0.8, with the Korn Shell (0.4) from a.a.u.e. I've just come across what seems to be quite an obscure but disastrous bug in the file match. What I had was a directory which (for reasons I would rather not try to explain) got a file called ./compress.ttp in it (yup ./ and all). Its on a Minix FS partition. When I tried to do ESC ESC to file match a filename in that directory, the shell (or MiNT?) did what I can only assume is a memory fill (because the screen was covered in an odd pattern after a few secs). Oh it also took out MiNT and crashed the machine. Has anyone else seen this and is there a fix (apart from not repeating the exercise). ...Les...
