[comp.sys.atari.st.tech] English docs for Turbo Assember?

chu@acsu.buffalo.edu (john c chu) (06/05/91)

I just got and unpacked turboass.lzh from atari.archive and it
certainly looks like a very comprehensive package (and the graphics
version of sokoban is good too!). However, I don't know any German so
I was wondering if English docs are available anywhere?

Please reply by e-mail. Thanks!

Hey folks,

I also was impressed by Turbo Assembler, but couldn't really
put up with the German either. If you find English docs, please inform
me also.

Oh, the turboass is shareware from another kind. Markus Fritze decided to
only give away the docs, if you have payd. Since now there are no english
docs available. Write to markus_fritze@hh2.maus.de for details.

Bye...Michael

Add me to the list of people who would like an English translation of
Turboass.Lzh (the .PRG file & associated .DOC files).

Someone on GEnie was looking at translating the docs, but when
they discovered the assembler had no support for macros, they gave up
on the translation. Has macro support been added? If not, what use
is the assembler except for very small projects.
Check out Devpac2, as it is very good, and the Michtron version is
sell for <50$.
