I am currently requesting an antenna variance. The city where I live
has a 25 foot limit, and I am asking for an increase to 60 feet.
As you might expect, some of the neighbors see doom coming from
the sky in the form of lightning.
Can you recommend a text or paper that discusses the situation
when proper grounding of the tower is maintained? Any text would
be appreciated, but the lower the technical level the better.
Or how about something that uses lightning rods as an analogy?
Beyond that, any material you have used to obtain a variance
would be appreciated.
