Heard a U.S. ham on the air yesterday claim that VEs can use the prefix CG so I checked with the local DOC office and gathered this info for those of you out there that hunt prefixes. CG is a valid prefix from Feb 17th to Apr 17th in honour of 75 years of Girl Guides (!!!) XJ is valid from June 29th to Aug 29th (I think it is Canada wide but is definitely valid for VE5) CH5 is valid for VE5s ONLY from July 28th to Aug 10th to celebrate Saskatchewan Heritage '85. It's not easy to find out about these things as there is no official announcement mechanism. I'll try to keep you posted.
