Folks, Rightfully spanked, I have goofed some of the data in the latest (version 3) NTP spec Appendix E, which contains an extensive discussion on timescales and calendrics. The result is that all the Modified Julian Day numbers are in error high by one day. I have corrected all MJD references and will put up amended PostScript and text files real soon. For interest, I forgot to lop off a day when converting from Julian Day to MJD and also to correctly account for the origin offset of the Gregorian relative to the Julian calendars of two days. Heck, the Romans didn't get it right, either, for the first few years. Dave
