jae@is.Morgan.COM (Jae Sang) (11/21/90)
we are running ntp among our sun sparcstation (SUN OS 4.1) and are
having difficulty in synching their clocks to our Sparcserver 4/490
(SUN OS 4.1). The offset appears to vary up to 1.5 seconds. I
gather that NTP should be able to maintain a tighter tolerance than this.
Below are the ntp.conf files on the server as well as a workstation.
Any suggestions?
Server: precision -7
peer /dev/null LOCL 1 -7 local
Workstation: precision -7
server is1 (* note: is1 is the above sparcserver)
Result of ntp -v chris (* note: chris is a workstation)
