we are running ntp among our sun sparcstation (SUN OS 4.1) and are having difficulty in synching their clocks to our Sparcserver 4/490 (SUN OS 4.1). The offset appears to vary up to 1.5 seconds. I gather that NTP should be able to maintain a tighter tolerance than this. Below are the ntp.conf files on the server as well as a workstation. Any suggestions?
