Folks, Apparently, the situation across (under) the Atlantic has improved to the point that Norway chimes are about as good as California chimes, at least here in the wilds of Delaware. The present dispersions of a few tens of milliseconds are far less than the previous rattle and roll up to a few seconds at times. Accordingly, I reconfigured the timer.nta.no and timer.unik.no fuzzballs for tighter tolerance in order to resolve the seconds from this side of the Atlantic (the resolution less than a second is determined by a cesium clock at timer.nta.no and LORAN-C receiver at timer.unik.no). All this should further reduce the possibility of synchronizing on the wrong second. Dave
