A while back, I asked this group what the DUT1 will be after the upcoming leap second. (It's -.3 now.) Not getting an answer, I just called Fort Collins and asked. It will be +.6. While I was on the line, I asked whether the new Time Code Generator contract had been awarded. The man I spoke to said yes it had, and that they were hoping to get a new generator "maybe next month". I didn't ask who the vendor was or when they might actually put them on the air. Well, that means I can stop worrying about getting the money together to build and donate a set of TCGs. I'll just finish up my prototype and let it go at that.
