I'm trying to set up a Traconex clock on our Sun 490 server which will be
updating several SPARCs and other beasts here at Southwestern Bell. I am
looking for:
1. Full software for ntp or xntp which ever is better for SunOS4.1.
2. Complete kernel patches to adjust to use with ntp/xntp.
3. Traconex support software which I understand is also in netland.
4. Can someone advise how portable this package is to other Unix
environments, e.g. Pyramids, Xenix boxes, AU/X, [gulp]VMS.
I am also interested in:
1. Mac and IBM PC code to access the clock.
2. Info as to whether ntp is a successor to timed, or an alternative.
Could someone please e-mail where I can ftp the needed software.
Thanks,
//Andy Liwen

For VMS, Multinet TCP/IP has ntp support in the distribution, and Wollongong TCP/IP will have it in the next release.
