To: All packet radio stations From: Hank Magnuski, KA6M Date: February 25th, 1985 Subject: ARRL Networking Conference - See us at Faire Booth 833/835 The management of the 10th West Coast Computer Faire conference confirmed today that the ARRL & Pacific Packet Radio Society will have a very large 20' x 10' booth near the center of the exhibit area. We plan to have an ongoing demonstration of packet radio equipment and technology at the booth, and hope that this exhibit will be of interest to the many computer oriented hams who will be in attendance at the show. This message is a formal request for members of the various packet radio associations to participate in the exhibition by bringing with you stacks of your newsletters, membership applications and any other material which would be appropriate. We will have this literature on display and would be pleased to help promote packet in your area. In other developments, I have been informed that Steve Goode, K9NG, will bring his 9600 bps radio modems to the conference. This, for sure, will be the year that amateur packet radio moves to 9600. If you haven't made your travel plans yet, do it today! The special 30-day advanced purchase discount airline tickets will expire in a few days. 73, Hank H. S.
