To whom it may concern:
It seems that some time ago my company obtained the ntp package
from you. It was never fully put together and used succesfully,
and now I have gotten the project and asked to look at it.
I would like to know if a newer better version is available now
since this has been sitting around for a year or so. The last
date in my README file for the History is 9/12/89. I would
assume that there might be something newer available now.
We have a Spectracom 8170 which recieves the WWVB signal and
we would be connecting a Sun3 to it to get the time and then
be a time server for the other suns on the network. We would
be interested in broadcasting of the time on a periodic basis
if possible.
Any new information would be much appreciated.

Kevin, So far as I know, the versions of ntp.3.4 and xntp in the pub/ntp directory on louie.udel.edu are the most recent available. While neither of these versions supports the 8170 receiver, there is at least one site (SRI?) which has such an implementqtion You might stand up and see who salutes. Dave
