I got the pamphlet from CHU. Here's the official word: The code is 300 baud, 8 bits, no parity, TWO stop. At 31.000 seconds, 10 cycles of 1000 Hz tone. At 31.010, 2225 Hz starts and lasts .123 seconds. At 31.133, the first start bit starts. The last stop bit ends at 31.500. The 2225 Hz tone persists for .01 more seconds, then drops at 31.510. The pattern continues at 32-39 seconds. Each code contains 10 characters. The first 5 are the same as the second 5. Within a 5 character code word are 10 BCD digits. Within each character, the LSD is considered to be 'before' the MSD. That means you will probably want to flip them around before you process them. The first digit is always a 6. The next 3 are the day of the year, then hour, minute and second. -- Nick Sayer | Think of me as a recombinant | RIP: Mel Blanc mrapple@quack.sac.ca.us | Simpson: Homer's looks, Lisa's | 1908-1989 N6QQQ | brains, Bart's manners, and | May he never 209-952-5347 (Telebit) | Maggie's appetite for TV. --Me | be silenced.
