I've completed the firmware upgrade for the year bits. Hey, Mr. Clements: is
WWV/H transmitting the new timecode yet? If not, can I borrow an audiotape?
Next up: a customer-special modification then back to the standard firmware to
add decoding of the new daylight savings time and leap second bits. If there
are features to add that will make you rush out and buy a dozen or a gross of
PSTI/Traconex clocks, this is a good time to tell me! Once the DST and leap
second updates are tested, documented, and so on, the next standard release
will be ready, a version 5 release, unless y'all come up with more changes for
me to make.
So people at parties ask me "What do you do?" and I say "I'm a chronoengineer;
time is my business." I don't get invited to many parties....
