A long time ago I took a course called "The Sociology of Religion."
It was a popular course among "unreligious" liberal arts types
like me. Several weeks into the course, a package was delivered
to my home. It was wrapped in plain brown paper and was stamped
"postage due." There was no return address. Inside was a King
James bible, and on the fly leaf was the inscription " To Mike,
>From God." My first thought was that it was a joke.
I wonder......
