I have never done any SCA work, but in my dimmer memories is the idea that most FM broadcast receivers have an "SCA trap" in or just after the detector. If you can find and non-destructively disable such a trap (or perhalps take signal from across it, assuming it's parallel tuned, or magneticly couple to the L in the tank), then you may have enough signal for the 565 circuit. 73's -Bill
