SPREAD	SPECTRUM FOUND IN THE 160 -170 MHz BAND

Who is using frequency hopping, spread spectrum emis-
sion in the 10 MHz	between	160 - 170 MHz?

I've monitored daylight transmissions of this	type
using an	HP8558B	spectrum analyzer and outdoor ground
plane. The signal	strength on each discrete frequency
is constant, about 10 db stronger than the Chicago's
NOAA Weather Radio	station	on 162.55 MHz (35 miles	east
     of	me, atop Sears Tower).
