One of the more unlikely spots for obtaining gear that I have found is Radio World, located in the terminal building of Oneida County Airport in Oriskany, New York (near Utica). As part of a trip last week to that part of the woods, I wandered in. I seem to remember a posting to this list recently about SW receivers for the car. At Radio World, I noticed that MFJ makes a four-band SW converter about the size of two packs of cigarettes and costing $79. I needed to catch a plane, so I didn't have the time to get any further info. Also, from the Radio Nederland shopping list: SW auto receivers by Grundig, Becker, and Philips and SW converters by Becker and Grundig. Jim wa1uou
